Holding space for meaningful dialogue and systemic change
How I facilitate
I lead workshops for organisations and communities focused on environmental and social resilience and well-being. My sessions create space for meaningful conversations about concerns for the planet and inspire participants to move from overwhelm to positive action.
I tailor workshops to each group’s goals, such as building leadership resilience, improving team dialogue, or driving collective action. Past sessions include 'Leadership for People and Planet' and 'Wellbeing, Resilience and Hope.'
I am a trained facilitator in 'Active Hope' an evidence-based approach developed by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone that helps people find their best response to crisis and change in the world.
I am also an official facilitator of 'Mini Summits' a series of science-backed workshops designed by the Hive Initiative to help groups transform concern into collective action on climate change, biodiversity and economic wellbeing.

Participating in the ‘Leadership for People and Planet’ all-staff workshop was an enlightening and empowering experience. The workshop inspired me and colleagues to take proactive steps both individually and collectively to work towards a sustainable future.
The feedback has been uniformly excellent … Alison has a strong and collaborative personal style that allows her to really connect with her audience.
Sharing my fears, and hearing those of others, created a community of compassion, and a relief from feelings of isolation and hopelessness. I left with a clear and simple action I can do.
